What causes pain in your back?
There are many different causes of back pain that can occur. The most common is a muscle spasm. A muscle spasm is not a big problem, and can easily be massaged out and then it feels better and doesn’t typically return.
However, when the pain either returns off/on or does not go away, then there may be another issue entirely. It is possible that there may be a subluxation, or a misalignment present in the spine.
This is a more serious diagnosis, and involves possible damage to nerves, which may result in a muscle spasms that do not totally resolve.
If the muscle spasms are recurring, than it is advised to seek out a consultation with a Chiropractor. The Chiropractor will help determine not only your symptoms, but also the true cause of the problem, as well as offering solutions to your diagnosis.
In my ten years of clinical practice, I have helped thousands of patients with pain, serving the Manassas area in the same location, on Centreville rd.
