Manassas National Battlefield Park
The First Battle of Manassas occurred on July 21, 1861, and the second occurred 13 months later in August of 1862, where these field were where the Confederates defeated the Union in the Civil War, which was the first major fight.
Come feel part of American history and live history being part of the reenactment, dates run from May to October. Various dates are infantry only, with July and August dates being the anniversary of the First and Second Battles.
To add to your visit, you can visit the Henry Hill Center and see historical activities, sites and trails. Or the Battlefield park film where you watch 45 minutes of coverage of both First and Second battles. Finally, the exhibits to see artifacts up close from the First Battle. It is near DT Manassas.
